Will you be out of town or unable to make it to the polls on Election Day – Tuesday, November 5th? Please consider voting by absentee ballot to ensure your voice is heard in this critically important Township election.
Voting by absentee ballot is a two-step process:
Step 1 – Fill out an application to request an absentee ballot and return it to the Northampton County Elections Office by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 29th. The application form and specific instructions on the absentee voting process can be found by following this link to the Elections Office Absentee Voting web page.
Post-marks don’t count! The application must physically be in the Elections Office on the 29th. Once the Elections Office approves your application, they will mail the absentee ballot to you.
Step 2 – Fill out the absentee ballot and return it to the Elections Office by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 1st. Again, post marks don’t count – the ballot must be in the Elections Office on November 1st. If hand delivering, only the actual voter may return the ballot.
